Applied Communication: We went over the assessment for the instructional document assignment again. The rest of the class time was for working on the document. The document is due Thursday at the end of class; Thursday will be the final work day. No extensions.
Lit and Comp: period 3 - We reviewed the difference between thick and thin questions. Students then read an article about texting while driving; they then completed a silent exchange activity.
period 11 - Students read an article raising the question of whether social networking contributes to people becoming more mean. Students completed a discussion sheet (on the web site - "facebook article") and used it to facilitate small group discussions.
