Lit and Comp: Period 3 - The entire class discussed ideas for interpretations of the poem read in class on Friday. We then watched a video clip of the Chris Farley show (his interview with Paul McCartney) and discussed his interviewing/conversational skills. We talked about the difference between thick and thin questions. Students then read a short article, got into small groups where everyone had read a different article and then shared what they read plus a thick question for their article to launch a discussion.
Period 11 - Students completed a silent discussion activity.
